'Mediation works when people work at mediation'
Following a career as a teacher, Margaret has furthered her skills by training and practising as a mediator. Margaret was accredited as a mediator in 2012 with the National Mediator Accreditation Scheme, and has since conducted many civil law and workplace mediation for the Community Justice Centres and through her private practice, Resolve·Reconnect.
Margaret has also completed her training to become accredited as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney-General’s Department.
Margaret has also completed training as a Conflict Management Coach and strongly believes in helping people to reflect on their conflict management style and consider methods to improve it.
When mediating any dispute and relating with clients, Margaret strives to provide a quality service. She believes that the role of the mediator is as a facilitator to assist the parties to achieve the best possible outcomes from a difficult situation. Margaret displays empathy and compassion and is acutely aware of the requirement of confidentiality to the extent allowed by law.
Margaret is a practitioner member of the Resolution Institute.
Resolve·Reconnect is based in Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North Coast and Margaret will consider travelling to other areas to help her clients.
